Emma Lynch
Tribal Public Health and Aging Project Assistant
Emma Lynch is a Tribal Public Health and Aging Project Assistant with IA². Emma has helped launch elder justice projects at IA² and is a strong advocate in the elder justice space. She brings a wealth of public health knowledge that is instrumental in addressing tribal elder justice and supporting the Native American Elder Justice Initiative (NAEJI). Additionally, she created a tribal outreach toolkit for Title VI MIPPA grantees. She previously assisted with Wandering and Vaccine initiatives at IA² as well.
She is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health degree from the Yale School of Public Health and expected to graduate in May 2025. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University. Prior to joining IA², she volunteered with the AmeriCorps VISTA program at the State of New Mexico’s Aging and Long-Term Services Department, where she conducted a gap analysis of aging services available to older adults in rural and tribal areas of New Mexico. For over a decade, she has been a board member of the Sean King Fund for Inclusive Practices, a non-profit whose mission is to promote inclusion for people with disabilities. She assisted in the foundation of this organization at the age of 13 and has been a member ever since. Emma has a passion for health equity and addressing social determinants of health.
