Over the month of May, the IA2 team was very busy. The IA2 team was able to travel again this month for many exciting events to learn and share more about brain health and elder justice. IA2 attended the 2023 Alzheimer’s Association Dementia Risk Reduction Summit and the Shoshone Bannock Tribes Adult Protective Services Taking a Stand Against Elder Abuse Conference. Along with travel, our team has been busy working on various activities.— NEWLY AVAILABLE on the IA2 website “American Indian, Alaska Native, & Culturally Inclusive Language in ADRD State Plans” which explores excerpts from various state plans regarding American Indians, Alaska Natives, and other communities. — The IA2 P4VE Team is looking for Vaccination Champion Sites to host a vaccination campaign for either covid or the flu. If you cannot be a Champion Site but want to participate, consider being a Vaccination Champion. Learn more below!
