Tribal Adult Protective Services

Tribal Adult Protective Services (APS) programs are social services designed to assist American Indian and Alaska Native adults in abusive, neglectful, or exploitative relationships and situations. These programs work with health care providers, law enforcement, the judicial system, behavioral health agencies, and a wide range of other community agencies to prevent the continued abuse, neglect, or exploitation of adults who are unable to protect themselves.
