IA2 Takes Over National Center on Elder Abuse Blog for November

In honor of Native American Heritage month, the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) is featuring a series of blog posts featuring discussions on findings from a just-released national needs assessment on facilitators and barriers to tribal provider screening and management of victims of elder abuse in the outpatient clinical setting.

A panel of respondents including representatives from IA2, the National Center on Abuse in Later Life (NCALL) and the U.S. Administration on Aging (AoA) will discuss the report findings of greatest interest to them.

The aim of the blog series is to promote the report findings and recommendations and bring the of abuse and exploitation of tribal elders to the forefront of the national discussion on abuse of older people.
