Dave Baldridge Presents To HHS Secretary’s Tribal Advisory Committee
On May 8th, IA2 Executive Director Dave Baldridge presented on dementia challenges in Indian Country at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary’s Tribal Advisory Committee (STAC). STAC was established in 2010 to create a department-wide approach to tribal guidance and build partnerships with tribes. The committee is comprised of both federal and tribal representatives. Dave was joined by Wendy Holmes from CDC who discussed the Healthy Brain Initiative and Roadmap for Indian Country. Dave presented on IA2’s contributions to the Roadmap and communications tools developed in partnership with the Association for State and Territorial Health Officials.
