Over 400 people traveled to the Shoshone-Bannock Reservation for the 11th Annual Taking A Stand Against Elder Abuse Conference hosted by Marcia Hall with the Shoshone-Bannock Elder & Adult Protection Services. There was a wide range of professionals and elders who attended. IA² ‘s Peggy Jo Archer of NAEJI started the conference by hosting a listening session with 80 participants on “What does elder Justice look like in your community.” The listening session was in conjunction with a dinner hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Idaho Chapter. NAEJI received valuable feedback that will be useful in guiding our work and informing us of our next steps. Overall, NAEJI had a meaningful time networking and sharing NAEJI and IA² resources.
