Dave Baldridge Presents at National Tribal Public Health Summit
On May 14th, IA2 Executive Director Dave Baldridge presented to a full workshop room at the Native Indian Health Board’s National Tribal Public Health Summit. He was joined by Molly French (Alzheimer’s Association), J. Neil Henderson (Memory Keepers), and Dr. Lisa McGuire (Alzheimer’s Disease and Healthy Aging Program, CDC). They presented on the impact of dementia on tribal communities and what can be done to address the challenge. Dave discussed recent consultations with Title VI directors and tribal health leaders as well as the communication tools developed in partnership with the Association for State and Territorial Health Officials.
