Healthy Brain Initiative Roadmap for Indian Country Released
The Healthy Brain Initiative’s Roadmap for Indian Country was released on May 14th at the National Tribal Public Health Summit. IA2 was a key consultant on the publication developed by the Alzheimer’s Association and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The Road Map is designed to raise awareness and support discussion of dementia within tribal communities. IA2 hopes the Road Map will help build attention to the unique challenges of dementia in Indian Country and move towards the development of a community response.
