The Public Health Center of Excellence on Dementia Caregiving Presents: Elevating Dementia Caregiving as a Public Health Priority
The number of people in the U.S. living with dementia and the family members and friends that care for them continues to rise, yet dementia caregiving remains an emerging public health priority. This event will highlight recent work by the National Alliance for Caregiving funded by The John A. Hartford Foundation that addresses how and why dementia caregiving is indeed a public health concern. We will conclude with a discussion panel that reflects on how we can ensure that dementia caregiving becomes and remains a public health priority.
