\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>The\u00a0National Indigenous Women\u2019s Resource Center<\/a>\u00a0is dedicated to restoring sovereignty and safeguarding Native Women and Children.<\/p>\n

The National Indigenous Women\u2019s Resource Center, Inc. (NIWRC) is a Native-led nonprofit organization dedicated to ending violence against Native women and children. The NIWRC provides national leadership in ending gender-based violence in tribal communities by lifting up the collective voices of grassroots advocates and offering culturally grounded reso\"\"<\/a>urces, technical assistance and training, and policy development to strengthen tribal sovereignty.<\/p>\n

The National Indigenous Women\u2019s Resource Center provides culturally specific technical assistance, training, and policy development for tribes, tribal programs, and advocates to help establish and strengthen their responses to violence against Native women. This includes highly specialized and culturally specific training, advocacy, and programmatic and policy development in the areas of domestic violence, sexual violence, missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, stalking, and sex trafficking.<\/p>\n

Their primary goals are to support the sovereignty of tribes and the development of Tribal programs and advocates as they build capacity in serving and advocating for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian victim-survivors of violence in their communities. NIWRC can also connect tribes and advocates to regional Tribal coalitions, Native organizations, and trained consultants throughout our network.<\/p>\n
